Individual must be available to fill in for the Manager when they are out of town or not in store. Must be on-call in case of an emergency. Must fill in if a crew member does not show up. Must begin training to assist a store manager. Will learn all aspects of opening and closing a store i.e. paperwork, prep, inventory, etc. Individual must care about their job and the people they work with. Must have fast-food experience and be able to work under pressure during very heavy traffic flow from customers.
We are currently seeking an assistant Manager to join our restaurant team and help lead our company into the future. The ideal candidate will have a background in restaurant management, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to our high-quality standards. Responsibilities: * Assign work to department staff based on job descriptions and staff workload assessments. * Write work schedules and make changes as needed. * Provide training to new employees. * Supervise daily operations of the restaurant during business hours. * Provide timely feedback to employees regarding performance and organizational expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the shift
- Ensure smooth and efficient workflow in the kitchen and dining area
- Supervise and train team members, providing guidance and support
- Monitor food production and quality to meet customer expectations
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other shift managers to achieve overall business goals
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service management role is required
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Familiarity with food production and preparation techniques
- Experience in hotel or restaurant industry is preferred
- Proven ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Proficiency with POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
