Job Summary:
The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to leadership for assigned teams, assisting with staffing, workforce planning, career development, training, organizational design, analytics, change management and performance management. The HR Business Partner aligns HR policies, processes and resources to support business objectives, caregivers / practitioners and leaders across assigned teams. Serving as the on the ground side-by-side and first point of contact for HR, the HR Business Partner I provides support to caregivers / practitioners and leaders working to:
Advocate for Bassett Healthcare Network employees to drive engagement and align with our culture.
Support leaders in effectively building and leading teams of productive and engaged staff and support leaders as they leverage Talent Acquisition, Employee Health, Compensation, Benefits, Retirement, and Education teams, HR tools and processes.
Serve as support during HR strategy implementations.
In this capacity, the HR Business Partner will provide comprehensive HR support and serve as an advisor to leaders on HR related issues including policies, practices and procedures.
o Talent Acquisition: Partners with leaders by developing job descriptions, assisting in position approvals, HR metrics related to hiring, and as required, contributes to leadership interviews. Participates during the onboarding process of new hires.
o Total Rewards: Partners with leaders to provide compensations and benefits support, deferring to the subject matter experts in compensation, benefits and retirement as required. Serves as a first point of contact to caregivers / practitioners regarding compensation and benefit questions.
o Learning, Development & Education: Partners with leaders and Education to ensure the timely completion of mandatory education. Assists with presenting learning & development courses on HR related topics.
o Employee Health: Assists leaders and the Employee Health departments in the timely completion of employee health requirements. Provides tools and support, including EAP programming, to caregivers / practitioners and leaders as required.
