Little Hills Learning Center is looking to hire an experienced Lead preschool teacher to join our team!

About Us:

Little Hills Learning Center is a family-owned childcare center located in St. Charles, MO. We are a state licensed facility. Our teachers facilitate learning through play. We believe in creating a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow!

Job Expectations:

  • Provide a positive, safe, nurturing, and friendly classroom environment.
  • Be able to meet the needs of all children in a developmentally appropriate manner.
  • Follow state licensing and sanitation rules and regulations.
  • Communicate and build relationships with parents and families.
  • Be a reliable team player.
  • Exhibit classroom management skills.
  • Support the toilet learning journey.
  • Prepare children for kindergarten, socially, emotionally, and academically.
  • Create lesson plans and activities based on provided curriculum.
  • Maintain professionalism in all aspects of the job.
  • Promote learning through play.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and families using provided childcare app.
  • Continue education through state-mandated trainings and training provided by Little Hills.

Requirements:

 Degree in education is a plus!

 Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a preschool teacher in a licensed facility

 Availability M-F, 8-hour shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
