Little Learners is a fast-growing, family owned and operated Childcare Center specializing in providing early education for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. As we continue to expand, we have an immediate opening for an Assistant Director at our newest location in Washington Township. For our Director positions, we are looking for a highly driven and committed individual who wants to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families, while helping to effectively and efficiently run all daily operations.

Some of the exciting things that you will do as an Assistant Director include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the Director with the managing day-to-day operations and administrative duties
  • Assist teachers with weekly development and execution of curriculum and program activities
  • Conduct specialized phone and in-center tours for prospective parents; and enroll new families
  • Build strong relationships with families/children while handling any parental concerns/questions
  • Ensure our Little Learners assessments are implemented, and appropriate practices are in place
  • Ensure licensing standards are met while assisting in the accreditation process for the center
  • Provide classroom coverage when necessary and ensure a safe environment for the children
  • Assume Center Director responsibilities in the Director’s absence

Qualifications for our Assistant Directors include:

  • Prior experience as an Assistant Director or Leadership role in a Childcare Center
  • CDA or Degree in Early Childhood Education is highly preferred
  • CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain/re-certify
  • Meet background check requirements with fingerprint clearance
  • Provide negative TB test results prior to starting position
  • Dependable and flexible self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong leadership with organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to learn internal software programs
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
