Job Overview:
The Driver is responsible for operating trucks to transport aggregates, sand, and other materials and/or equipment to various job sites. This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of equipment/trucks.
Requirements:
- Clean Class B CDL required
- Current DOT Health Card
- Must pass drug screen and background check
Responsibilities:
- Comply with DOT rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Preform daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation
- Grease trucks and trailers as needed during pre/post trip inspections
- Check fluid levels, tires, lights, and other controls for safe function
- Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs
- Unroll truck tarp to cover load when required
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions and insure you are dumping in the designated location for that product
- Clean bed before loading when required
- Retain fuel/toll receipts
