POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Front Office Manager, the Medical Records CSR scanner is responsible for scanning patient records.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Scan and name each file accordingly for both paper and electronic patient records.
- Assisting with processing medical and dental record requests
- Answering inbound patient calls and making outbound patient calls
- Assisting patients with their patient portal
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Maintain a neat/well organized work area.
- Maintain an adequate amount of supplies.
- Attend all in-service as required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Gather and distribute inbound mail and process outgoing mail
- Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or GED.
- Previous Experience is a plus.
