Receiving Lead in Solon Ohio

This position will be working out of the Solon, OH warehouse.

1st shift 7am - 3pm

Basic Purpose:

Main responsibility will be to lead day to day activities in the Receiving department in SOLON OHIO. The person will be responsible for daily employee assignments, inventory accountability, and other leadership tasks such as quality monitoring and safety leadership

Essential Functions:

• Assures that safety, environmental standards, housekeeping, and safe working environment are maintained and encouraged.
• Interacts effectively with an array of personnel both inside and outside the company
• Trains new and existing associates by company expectations
• Schedules and assigns daily duties
• Maintains needed expectation levels for production, planning, and other areas that rely on the receiving department
• Performs essential Axapta and WMOS functions
• Fills in for material handlers when necessary
• Maintains labor levels to company expectations
• Other duties as assigned by Receiving Manager or Operations Director

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a PIT license or be able to obtain one within 1 week
• Must be able to lift a maximum of 80 pounds
• Must be able to work all required overtime.
• Must not have more than a single level write-up
• Must possess good interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess initiative to problem solve and make improvements.
• Must own a genuine concern with associate well-being.
• Must be able to pay attention to detail.
• Must proactively be safety conscious.
• Must have basic Axapta and WMOS knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Leadership: 2 years (Required)
• Shipping & receiving: 2 years (Required)
• Materials handling: 2 years (Required)
• Axapta and WMOS: 1 year (Preferred)
