Do you want to be an integral part of a leadership team that is an industry leader in saving lives through organ donation? Are you able to lead, inspire, and support a team of Donation and Family Advocates? Are you able to train and develop staff?
If so, we are looking for an energetic, positive, and skilled manager to join our leadership team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the Donation and Family Advocate staff. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, evaluating, and terminating.
- Ensures department procedures are consistent with the highest ethical standards, UNOS, CMS, AOPO accreditation standards, and applicable state and federal laws.
- Champions continuous performance improvement, making sure the team is always performing at its best. This includes data gathering and staff development training.
- Creates and manages budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and excellence.
- Serve as the empathetic and knowledgeable advocate for organ and tissue donation, offering support and direction to staff who are engaging with families during critical decision-making.
Schedule:
- Primarily regular office daytime hours with a combination of office workdays and work-from-home workdays.
- Provides occasional evening/weekend and on-site support as needed.
Requirements:
- Must have excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a healthcare related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of healthcare related experience.
- Work experience related to crisis management, end-of-life situations, and grief.

- Promote a quality culture of excellence by actively engaging in quality assurance and continuous performance improvement activities while adhering to all policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and personal auto insurance.
