Our company and our reach has been growing fast… And, we’re looking for a Community Manager & Content Writer to create and maintain a supportive online community for our students through thoughtful, provoking content and engagement.

The kind of person with MASSIVE HEART who will quickly know our students by name and understand exactly how they’re winning, what they’re struggling with and how to give the right encouragement at the right time without supporting disempowering stories.

While this is not a marketing position, we believe that marketing is the process of creating the attitudes, beliefs and conditions people need to say yes to themselves. Because of that, marketing doesn’t stop once someone enters our programs. Marketing continues through their entire journey with us as we continue to re-enroll students in themselves, the mission of the program and the commitment they made to their highest potential. 

Here’s What the Role Will Look Like for You:

As a key team member of our Campus Department you'll be the spark that ignites students' enthusiasm for attending trainings, workshops, Accelerators and keeping them informed every step of the way throughout our programs. With your captivating writing and engaging social posts, you'll inspire students to conquer their business goals. Here's what you'll do:

  • Craft engaging emails and posts infused with behavioral design, marketing savvy and adult learning principles to inform and excite students across all of our programs 

  • Tailor content to our brand voice, structure compelling campaigns and provide personalized support through regular outreach, encouraging a vibrant community atmosphere

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative assets such as eye-catching graphics for Facebook & Forum groups

  • Track, analyze and report KPIs on content and Chatbot Messages – that capture students' attention and motivates action – using insights to develop a powerful future content strategy for an exceptional student experience

  • Moderate Facebook and Forum groups, including member approvals, removals and post deletions

  • Manage content calendars, projects and deliverables, ensuring timely delivery in the brand voice and of the highest quality, to increase student retention, referrals and repeat sales

  • Demonstrate a deep commitment to student engagement and results 

  • Attend quarterly student Accelerator Workshops and support the team in all areas needed (virtual and live)

  • Take responsibility for ensuring the quality and accuracy of your written content, including thorough proofreading, fact-checking and adherence to brand voice guidelines - before submitting to the team for review

  • Stay up-to-date and highly attuned to program happenings and student experiences, consistently proposing and testing ideas to drive more students towards successful outcomes 

About You:

  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Community Manager & Content Writer - ideally with experience in online education

  • Have an interest in entrepreneurship and online business, coupled with a commitment to personal development and coaching, embodying a life of continuous growth

  • Strong content writer with a keen understanding of the nuances when communicating in a company’s brand voice

  • Demonstrate A written and verbal communication skills, aiming for excellence in all interactions and written content, while recognizing the importance of responsiveness and reliability in fostering relationships and community-building

  • Can take feedback in stride and use that to make your work even better

  • Eager to utilize tools like ChatGPT and Monday.com to enhance efficiency and productivity

  • Proficient in using various media formats - including gifs, memes, emojis and videos - with hands-on experience in social media management across all channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

  • Knowledge of online engagement strategies and metrics

  • You’re always on social media and love starting conversations there, seeing what people are up to and cheering them on

  • Bring a balance of respect, inclusivity and a playful sense of humor to interactions

  • At ease with all kinds of people from different cultures, belief systems and levels of self-awareness

  • Comfortable being an authentic ambassador and yourself, while staying on-brand and on-message

  • You notice the tone of a community and can anticipate and address challenges before they turn into real problems

  • Tech savvy, resourceful and have the ability to “figure things out”

  • Strong work ethic and standards. Details matter to you. Results matter to you.

The Deets

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $60k-$70k (depending on experience) plus benefits. Besides our awesome team, Live Your Message offers some great perks for its employees such as:

The role is also 100% remote, but you need to be available to work during “normal business hours” (approximately 9am to 6pm Pacific time, give or take two hours) regardless of the time zone you live in. Some weekend and night work will be required during events and launch activities. And, having a reliable up-to-date computer is a must!
