Maintenance Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Independent Maintenance Contractor to perform maintenance tasks for our company. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs in a timely manner. This is a contract position, and the contractor will be responsible for providing their own tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment

• Troubleshoot issues and complete repairs as needed

• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues

• Complete work orders and maintain accurate records

• Communicate with management regarding maintenance needs and issues

• Provide own tools and equipment

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field

• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Reliable transportation to travel to job sites

• Valid driver's license

• Proof of liability insurance

• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols

• Certification in a related trade (e.g. HVAC, electrical, plumbing)

Work Environment:

• Various job sites in the local area

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

• Must be able to work in a team environment

Physical Demands:

• Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds

• Ability to work in confined spaces

• Ability to work at heights

Schedule:

• Flexible schedule, with ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed

• On-call rotation for emergency repairs

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate
