Residential House Supervisor- $20/hr
LPN/RN- $25-$30/hr
We are looking for dedicated support staff who is ready to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and/or autism while in their homes and in the community. "Be Bold" so come join our organization.
We assist clients in acquiring, maintaining, and improving the skills necessary to live in the community, to live more independently, and participate meaningfully in community life.
DSPs are Responsible for Helping Clients:
Carry out activities of daily living such as personal grooming and hygiene, dressing, making meals, and maintaining a clean environment.
Manage his or her medical care including scheduling and attending medical appointments, filling prescriptions and self-administration of medications, and keeping health logs and records
Learn and develop practices that promote good health and wellness such as nutritious meal planning, and regular exercise.
Communicate with providers, caregivers, family members, friends, and others face-to-face and through the use of the telephone, correspondence, the internet, and social media.
Participate in preferred activities of community life such as shopping, going to restaurants, museums, movies, concerts, dances, and faith-based services.
Assists in the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment.
Complete daily progress notes.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION FOR DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL
Must be compassionate and willing to care for the well-being of others
Minimum of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
Must maintain annual 24-hour training requirements during employment
Willing to comply with required policies, standards, and regulations
Must be willing to complete given background checks
Must have a valid Driver's License and existing insurance
Must be willing and able to drive individuals in personal car throughout the community.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Flexibility is preferred to allow more opportunity for individual assignments
