Living Water Community Health and Wellness Clinic dedicates itself to providing a well-rounded spectrum of family medicine and urgent care services to the communities that it serves in order to help patients live long and healthy lives. This includes diabetes management, workers’ compensation treatment, asthma diagnosis and management, weight loss services, heart health and cardiology care, pediatrics, gynecology, preventive medicine, minor surgeries, sports medicine services, and dermatology. 


Job Description:

 

Living Water Clinic, a dynamic and growing healthcare organization, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of Healthcare Financial Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with our Executive Director & Vice President, overseeing various departments, projects, and contributing to the business development of our faith-based organization.

 

Responsibilities:

 
  • Work closely with the Executive Director and CEO to develop and implement business development strategies and oversee multiple departments and projects.
  • Lead Revenue Cycle Management, including billing processes, patient accounts receivable, and insurance claims.
  • Oversee accounting, bookkeeping, and billing functions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee multiple departments, including Administration, Clinical Support Staff, and Clinic Managers, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Ease the workload of the Executive Director & VP and CEO by handling administrative tasks and day-to-day financial operations.
  • Utilize your understanding and experience in healthcare to develop and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the culture of our faith-based organization by motivating and coordinating teams, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Motivate teams at both macro and micro levels to improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Serve as a project manager, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including staff, vendors, and community partners.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, helping to develop their skills while they continue to grow in their roles.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and CEO to identify and address areas for improvement within the organization and the broader healthcare landscape.
 

Required Qualifications:

 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance or related field

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with partnerships and vendors..

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office and Google workspaces, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Professionalism, flexibility, and a willingness to take on new challenges as needed.
 

Preferable Qualifications:

 
  • Master's degree in healthcare management, business administration, finance, or related field, preferably MBA (Will consider bachelor's degree in accounting or finance).
  • Experience in healthcare administration, finance, project management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with partnerships and vendors..
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and finance.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Professionalism, flexibility, and a willingness to take on new challenges as needed.

Physical Requirements Of The Position:

 
  • This position will be working in multiple office settings, with no extremes in temperature or lighting.
  • Reliable transportation to and from multiple office settings is required.
  • Possible accommodations needed should be discussed prior to the onset of employment and/or the interview process.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs and transport items in and out of vehicles. Ability to work on feet/run errands for 4 hours per day as needed. Ability to sit at a desk for 6 hours per day.
