SUMMARY
Coordinator, Global Freight Forwarding - NOLA is responsible for ultimate customer service and solutions while providing shipment scheduling, trouble shooting, delivery coordination, rate quoting and processing of transactions from inception to completion.
Coordinator will assist team with developing and operating our Air/Ocean and Export service offerings. The individual will utilize their relationships, experience, problem solving, and analytical skills to help our customers. This position requires direct contact with our key clients and our suppliers to ensure high level of performance in the movement of goods through the supply chain. Arrange outbound/inbound cargo shipments from start to finish. Communicate with both internal and external customers. Investigate and resolve problem shipments. Support and lead by example with all functions involving both import and export aspects of international transportation -- air, land or sea. 1 - 3 years of professional experience in logistics industry and professional office environment
EDUCATION
Required: High School/GED or equivalent
