Role Overview:

This position is in the GTB department.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Working closely with the Director covering trade finance clients across the portfolio
• Assisting VP and Director in client relationship management, deal origination and deal execution across Trade Finance and Working Capital Deals
• Helping to generate ideas for existing and prospective clients
• Developing  transaction marketing materials
• Working on the Credit, Capital, Legal, KYC, Cross Border, and documentation aspects of transaction execution.  Regarding Capital, take full ownership of transaction EPC modelling
• Liaising with partners in coverage, legal,, credit, risk and compliance to service day-to-day client needs and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal processes
• Track client income and performance for Sr. Management requests
• Support Head of Trade Finance Product through producing reports, meeting minutes, new product approval requests
• Participate in bespoke opportunities, including: junior talent recruitment, diversity & inclusion network, responsible & ethical business practices, etc.

Qualifications

Education and experience required: 

• Undergraduate degree with coursework in Finance or Economics preferred
• 2 - 5 years of prior investment/corporate banking/credit experience. Strong internship experience will be valued
• Previous experience working with Trade Finance/Working Capital  products
