ABOUT US

LM Products Inc, a fastener distributor, is seeking an individual to serve as inside sales support and to support the Sales Manager in the day-to-day operations. Willing to train strong candidates in the particulars of fasteners. A great opportunity for the right personality to move into a sales role over time.

DUTIES

  • Answer RFQ’s and prepare sales quotes for new and previously sold items which may require research into the customer’s history or a broadened search for items not held in stock.
  • Process incoming orders including preparing sales orders and confirming order with the customer.
  • Search inventory for stock.
  • Prepare work orders for stock ordering.
  • Search for new supply vendors.
  • Assisting with customer issues and monitor the status of orders to assure on-time delivery.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and assist in developing new relationships.
  • Special projects as assigned by the Sales Manager.

EXPERIENCE
o 2-3 Years in the fastener industry or equivalent experience
o Proven sales skills
o Computer literacy (Word, Excel)
o QuickBooks
o Ability to read drawings
o Basic literacy and numeracy (needs to be able to calculate pricing)

o Ability to follow established procedures consistently
o Ability to multitask and work quickly – RFQ’s are returned by end-of-day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Lapeer, MI 48446: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Fastener: 1 year (Preferred)
