3PL Warehouse Floor Supervisor

We are looking only for high quality, knowledgeable leaders. You will be required to pass a written test. Only scores of 90% and above will be considered for the position. This position is 100% on the floor, there is no office for this position. This position will not communicate with customers or conduct any reporting. You will be evaluated by a 25 year military leader, one in a thousand may prevail. This positions duties are clearly listed below.

The LMS Warehouse Supervisor is required to know the work of all positions in the warehouse and Is required to know how a warehouse works from start to finish. They are responsible for ensuring day to day operations in a 82k sqft 3PL run smoothly according to company standards, systems and policies. They monitor and enhance productivity, ensure adequate staffing, cover in for unavailable staff, ensure equipment readiness and warehouse supply availability. Understand and implement a 5s program. Understand, communicate and enforce company standards and policies in accordance with company mission and values.

Duties and responsibilities

• Executes receiving activities IAW company standards and procedures
• Executes picking activities IAW company standards and procedures 
• Executes shipping activities IAW company standards and procedures 
• Ensures company policies are understood and adhered to 
• Ensures and promotes a safe and clean operating environment
• Ensures and promotes a neutral and nourishing environment for all associates and leads
• Ensures all equipment is maintained, available and utilized correctly IAW company standards
• Ensures all supplies are available in order to sustain operations
• Ensures man power is allocated and tasked correctly and are focused in the correct areas at the correct times conducting the correct tasks
• Tracks time in motion and enforces the standards of time and motion
• Ensures warehouse staff take scheduled breaks and return at the correct time 
• Ensures warehouse staff take lunch and return at the correct time
• Trains and develops new staff
• Assesses new candidates and replaces unproductive and problematic ones
• Loads & Unloads Trucks and understands all aspects of loading all types of trucks
• Checks in Drivers and assigns correct dock door and load
• Manages staging areas
• Manages devanning operations

Requirements:

• 10 hr days are frequent
• Must be able to stand, travel and navigate the facility unrestricted
• Must be able to bend, push and pull with no restricts
• Computer literate a must
• Able to generate spreadsheets 
• Able to conduct interviews
• Able to operate all material handling equipment in the warehouse a must
• Must know how to load trucks correctly considering pallet quantities and weight limits
• Minimum 5 years experience in one continuous leadership position
• Recent Experience leading in a public 3PL environment
• WMS experience a must

Experience & Qualifications:

• Military Leadership experience preferred
• Military Service preferred
• Recent experience in a multi client 3PL environment a must
• Lean Six Sigma Exposure
• 5 S implementation experience
• Experience with space utilization
• Inventory Experience
• Logistics Experience 
• Equipment training experience
• Bilingual
• Must pass a written test in order to be considered for the position
