Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for work area training, scheduling, productivity improvements, setup optimization, area organization, housekeeping, vendor interaction, and tooling, while running production.
Essential Functions:
- Perform machine set-up & production run per print on either one of: Anca, Walter, Saacke, Rollomatic,
- Be part of the training team and active participation in training new and/or existing employees
- Develop and install new processes and methods in production and training.
Qualifications
Operator Skills:
- Run machine or job unassisted.
- Check part to print.
- Make normal machine adjustments.
- Change wheel and tooling as required.
- Achieve standard production and quality.
- Perform work area and machine cleaning.
- Perform set-ups per print on existing tools and programs.
- Perform basic machine troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

Education, Experience, & Requirements:
- Extensive CNC Tool & Cutter Grinder experience (minimum 5 years’ experience)
- Train the trainer certificate (preferred but not required) Familiar with coaching/mentoring.
- Effective communication techniques, planning training, evaluation methods, effective feedbacks, presentation skills.
- Experience with different training methods and learning styles.
- High School Graduate or GED, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
