Title: 21st CCLC Advisor
Classification: Part Time/Temporary, Non-Exempt
Summary of Job Duties:
The LNESC 21st Century Program Advisors responsibilities will include general management of the program participants and parents , including program planning with teachers, tutors and aides, coordinating and implementing daily activities, coordinating activities of the group aide and providing weekly program reports to the Director.
Essential Job Duties:
- Assists with the organization of all activities, programs, and services for all 21st CCLC sites
- Develops monthly calendar of events with input from 21st CCLC Teachers and Staff which includes detailed lesson plans and activities.
- Shares monthly calendar with all 21st CCLC Staff, School Administration, and general public.
- Creates weekly events calendar to be distributed to parents, students, staff, and in school.
- Maintains a record-keeping system and creates reports as requested
- Submits mandated reports timely to LNESC and PA Department of Education
- Ensures quality and compliance through regular site visitation, as per the guidelines outlined within the 21st CCLC guidelines and LNESC policies and procedures
- Stays abreast of current developments and trends regarding after-school and extended learning programming
- Conducts meetings with various stakeholders, including program partners, school and district administration, parents, staff, and program participants.
- Collaborates with Central Office and School-based Leaders and Staff on special projects as requested
- Monitors summer programming and provide direct support to summer program sites
- Audits program files to ensure complete compliance with all LNESC and PA Department of Education guidelines
- Collaborates with community partners to bolster support and services provided to students and families
- Coordinates the transition of information between school day and after school/extended learning staff
- Coordinates tutor and teacher staff schedules.
- Orders and inventories supplies and other materials
- Monitors program budget
- Maintains and submits Monthly Time Logs to Federal Programs Liaison
Performance Requirements:
- Maintain100 participant files
- Meet 100% of recruitment goal
- Ensure programming takes place 12-15 hour per week
- Ensure that improvement is seen in 100% of students in the areas of Grades, Behavior and Attendance.
Non Essential Job Duties:
- Taking daily program attendance
- Assisting with delivering snacks to students
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferred experience in an urban school setting
- Highly organized
- Exemplar interpersonal skills
- Prior experience managing and supporting grant funded projects
- Prior experience managing or supervising staff
- Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook)
- Minimum of 1 year working in the field of teaching, counseling, or afterschool programming for children and youth
- The following are required
- PA Criminal clearance
- PA Child Abuse clearance
- FBI clearance
- Physical including TB test
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
