Position Summary: The IT QA Analyst is a supporting role to Application Management and Technology services efforts within the IT department. The IT QA Analyst will be responsible for the testing and certification of new releases of software to the existing production environment at EG America. The individual in this role will need to work with store operations and business teams to build test cases for quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
· The documentation of point of sale test plans for inside store and outside fuel transactions
· Carry out the physical point of sale test transactions using a production lab environment
· Evaluate technologies to automate or enhance the process of physical testing
· Provide QA approval for new software for retail point of sale technology
· Participate in new to industry projects and develop test scenarios with technology leads
· Provide the development team with a test of the release and deployment process to stores
· Work with lab specialist to update the production gold image
· Collaborate with development leads, knowledge coordinator and technical writers to produce release documentation
· Coordinate with lab specialist to ensure the lab environment is functional and utilized properly
· Maintain documentation of software release approvals for PCI security
· Develop and adhere to quality standards for the organization
· Create effective testing procedures
· Collaborate and communicate with IT the guardrails and process implementation as it pertains to QA
Working Relationships: The IT QA analyst will work closely with interdepartmental groups and the business to develop customer use cases for forecourt and point of sale transactions. The individual will need excellent written and verbal communications to design, build and maintain test cases for each store POS environment.

Pay: $58,560.00 - $73,200.00 per year
