School Bus Driver

**We are currently offering a $2,500 sign on bonus for full-time School Bus Drivers!!**

Premium rate: $32 per hour

Local Motion is a full-service transportation company. We are looking for experienced School Bus Drivers for our Braintree and Newton locations. Your primary responsibility is to transport school-aged children to and from school, safely and with a big smile! Bus routes will be assigned.

Qualifications and License Requirements:

• Commercial Driver's License - Class A, B or C
• Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Current DPU School Bus Certificate
• Excellent driving record
• Ability to speak and read English

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a bus or van to transport passengers to and from designated locations
- Follow predetermined routes and schedules to ensure timely arrival at each stop
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, conducting routine inspections and reporting any maintenance issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle
- Ensure the safety of all passengers by following proper procedures in emergency situations

Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in bus driving or related field preferred
- Ability to educate and interact with passengers of all ages, including children and seniors
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for handling challenging situations
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
