LocalNews1.org is a growing online news outlet with multiple products serving Southeast Franklin County PA and Northeast Washington County, MD. The local news needs a strong presence in the community to keep individuals informed and up to date with the goings on around them. We are seeking a motived and experienced individual to help drive this presence!
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a self-motivated editor to track, edit and produce local community news. Work will range from basic reporting to story publication.

- Candidate must be able to work content manager and reporters to write and edit stories.
- Knowledge of, and consistent application of, AP style required.
- Experience with Wordpress a plus.
- Journalists and skilled writers with editing experience are encouraged to apply.
