What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Local Sacramento general contractor?
The Administrative assistant is responsible for managing all administrative aspects of a construction project, including vendor management, subcontractor compliance, subcontractor payment applications. Management and communicating with customers, employees and subcontractors. This individual must display a high degree of professionalism, organization and cooperation with customers and co-workers. Proficient in communication both written and verbal.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up all project administration documents
- Review, validate and process outside vendor expenses
- Collect, review and process subcontractor purchase orders
- Monitor all project financials; tracking planned cost vs. actual; job progress vs. amount billed
- Review customer billing requirements within the contract and complete as necessary
- Monitor payables notify Production Manager of any delinquent accounts
- Work directly with employees, subcontractors, customers and vendors
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment with attention to detail
- Proficiency with excel spreadsheets and Microsoft software a must.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load as well as complete tasks on time
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, effective team player, self-motivated excellent problem solver
- Excellent communication skills and customer service
- Ability to follow instructions and learn policy's and procedures.
Kitchen and Bath experience a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
