What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Project Manager position at Locality?
As an IT Project Manager at Locality, you will play a key role within our ever-growing organization! You will lead the implementation of formal sprint planning, enhance intake processes, and utilize Jira for resource planning and time tracking. Working closely with the Chief Information Officer, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of critical IT initiatives that will help shape our organization!
Develop comprehensive project plans for IT and Technology departments, coordinating with stakeholders for clear priorities and objectives.Lead internal and vendor teams to execute project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, milestones, and budget constraints.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the project management lifecycle.
Serve as the primary point of contact for IT and Technology project stakeholders, facilitating effective communication between the Project Office, teams, management, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Allocate and monitor resource utilization, adjusting as necessary for project success.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Technology for consistent messaging aligned with the product strategy.
Implement processes to ensure project deliverables match the project charter.
Confirm expense tracking between OpEx and CapEx, conduct reviews, and identify areas for improvement as directed by finance.
Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring proper documentation and stakeholder communication.
Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans and status reports.
Generate regular reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting project status, achievements, and challenges.
Track activity, issues, requests, and progress using industry-standard tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Microsoft O365, SharePoint, and email
Bachelor's degree in technology or similar field is required
5 years of proven experience in managing IT projects from initiation to completion.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
Proactive and self-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong data analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Experience in the media or advertising industry is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
Proficient in Jira, Excel, and Smartsheet for comprehensive project management.
Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary of $95,000-$115,000. (dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset) and an excellent benefits package (including but not limited to health care benefits, retirement benefits and paid days off).
