What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant General Manager position at Locals 8 restaurant group?
We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to act as a member of the executive team, assist with manager and department performance monitoring, lead staff development training and oversee the daily operations of the business. Duties include increasing restaurant sales, maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring that any necessary maintenance is completed on a timely basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a person who can work well with others and effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of a restaurant.
- Manage restaurant staff, including hiring, firing, and training new employees.
- Manage the daily inventory of food and supplies.
- Oversee the cost and profitability of food and supplies.
- Oversee the maintenance of all equipment including refrigerators, ovens, and other kitchen appliances.
- Handle employee issues such as scheduling and performance evaluations.
- Communicate with managers at other locations to ensure uniformity in company policy and procedures.
- Write reports for upper management about restaurant trends, sales, customer satisfaction, employment statistics, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
