What are the responsibilities and job description for the Porter Supervisor position at LOCG LLC?
The Porter Supervisor will be in charge of supervising contracted and in-house day porter staff. This Supervisor will be responsible for daily inspections, addressing deficiencies in assigned cleaning areas, entering work requests into system, follows-up and assists day porters with daily tasks as needed. This Supervisor requires hands-on involvement. Porter Supervisor will also initiate personal development, communication, health and safety, as well as implementing rules and polices.
Inspects restrooms, hallways, sitting areas, offices, meetings rooms, parking garages/lots, classrooms and staircases Assigns works to day porters, updates them on events, areas of deficiencies and assigns special tasks Dispatches, delegates and communicates service calls made to Facilities Management to the day porters and ensures that all problems and concerns are addressed Submits work requests Follows up on events, ensures trash is discarded, carpets are cleaned, restrooms are stocked and initiates any other tasks that may be required

Delegation of Work: Regularly assigns work to subordinate(s)
Supervision Given: Provides recommendations on hiring new employees; on coaching and counseling; on training; and on granting time off.

Pay: $17.99 - $22.80 per hour
