Description:Seeking a Manager for Technical Data
Products (TDP) and is responsible for FBM
technical documentation products and services
delivered in support of D5 Pre and Post DD250
missile manufacturing operations accomplished
at Strategic Weapons Facilities and at Eastern
Range, FL.
Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• Supports SSBN Fleet and UK Program technical
documentation projects.
• Adheres to the LM SSC Program Performance
Management (PPM) requirements and executes
the scope within allocated budget resources.
• Interfaces regularly with Navy customers from
Strategic Systems Programs, Flight (SPF),
Strategic Program Flight Cape (SPFC) and Naval
Ordnance Test Unit (NOTU).
This position is located at Eastern Range, Cape Canaveral, FL and involves close
coordination among LMSSC performing
organizations and with FBM senior leadership. The leader must exhibit strong Full Spectrum
Leadership attributes and demonstrate a strong
aptitude for inclusiveness and strategic thinking.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing
Engineering or other related engineering field
from an accredited college or equivalent
experience/combined education.
• Technical professional experience in FBM D5
Missile (Pre- and Post-DD250) technical
documentation used in weapons manufacturing
processing, support equipment sustainment, and
SSBN Fleet documentation support.
• Candidates must possess leadership skills and
behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum
Leadership imperatives.
Desired Skills:
• Prior experience leading teams on FBM
technical documentation projects, proofing
weapons manufacturing operations, or
test/production operations at Strategic Weapons
Facilities and/or at the Eastern Range.
• Experience in working with FBM
Documentation Change Control Committee
(DCCC), Unsatisfactory Report Board (URB),
Documentation Working Group (DWG) and
Documentation Management Board (DMB).
• Knowledge and familiarity with Navy SSP
customer technical processes, business
practices, and organization.
