Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a part-time Aeronautical Engineer - Master/PhD Intern for Propulsion. In this role, you will research, define, analyze, develop, design, provide technical supplier management, test, and qualify mechanical and fluid systems to support power & thermal management systems. Includes design and test of high-speed turbomachinery such as compressors and turbines; fuel supply and combustion to support mechanical power for turbomachinery; and PTMS electrical power generation & management. Performs requirements definition in coordination with system engineering. Develops, reviews, and maintains engineering drawings and models. Supports integration and flight test, production, and sustainment activities. Ensures program objectives are accomplished through troubleshooting and system subject matter expertise to assist in maintenance and delivery of effective technical data. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Bachelor's degree in Aero or Mechanical Engineering with coursework in Thermodynamics.. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. Pursuing Master or PhD in Aeronautical/Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.

- ability to develop clear technical presentations for customers and suppliers.

- Microsoft Office Skills - of particular importance: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project.
