Business Analyst

Description:This is an exciting opportunity to join an international team at Sikorsky TUHP (Turkish Utility Helicopter Program). As a systems business analyst you will be supporting TUHP systems, implementing enhancements, and use data sets to produce meaningful stories and reports, allowing our employees and customers to make faster and better decisions. This person will be responsible for supporting TUHP Microsoft Dynamics CRM & TUHP Portal which is accessed by our Turkish customers, XPO logistics, and internal Sikorsky staff. The role will also support TUHP’s use of SharePoint for compliant and international collaboration on technical data. The role will also utilize all of our TUHP data in these systems and SAP Data Warehouses to design transfers to Tableau for flexible and dynamic reporting on a web-based enterprise system. Ultimately the data should be usable at different levels, from viewing detailed part or labor data, up through executive summaries. Digital Transformation is a key Lockheed-Martin initiative - our goal is to utilize TUHP systems platforms for future international programs, and build reporting platforms for multiple teams in the TUHP and Sikorsky organization. This role will be a liaison between different teams in IT and TUHP program stakeholders. The role will be split between multiple activities: Support of the systems and tools (20%), Process improvements, reporting & systems enhancements (40%), Training and developing teams on systems and tools (20%). This person should feel comfortable creating standard work & training materials and training one on one or small groups as needed. We are looking for someone with experience with at least one of the following who is willing to take training to learn the other two; Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, Tableau or a comparable business analytics toolset. This position will not support hardware, database backup or systems upgrades, which are handled by IT. This position will support and coordinate business and program testing of new versions and enhancements.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting a variety of systems and reporting needs
- Has at least 2 years support experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, or SharePoint, or Tableau
- 2+ years utilizing data from ERP, MRP, CRM or other systems for business reporting using web-based business reporting tools
Desired Skills:
- Has worked on designing new functionality, enhancements and process improvements
- Comfortable learning both business processes and systems
- Experience testing and documenting process improvements
- Experience training systems users
- Understanding and querying of both SQL and NO-SQL Databases
- Experience with daily support and compliance of business systems
- Predictive analytics – modeling, simulation and forecasting
- Analytical skills and understanding of database systems, data elements and application software solutions to optimize data gathering and analysis.
- Familiarity with keeping systems compliant with U.S. Technical Data and Sarbanes-Oxley basic requirements.
