The successful candidate will be a contracts negotiator for both unclassified and classified, highly dynamic programs in Fort Worth, TX. The role is responsible to manage, both independently and with a team, all day-to-day contract negotiation and administration across multiple programs. Candidate will work closely with functional organizations (finance, pricing, program management, engineering, subcontracts, etc.), and must be a self-starter, willing to learn, demonstrate strategic thinking, and be able to effectively coordinate with multiple internal and external customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, researching complex issues and providing recommendations for resolution; developing risk assessments and mitigation plans; assisting the manager and program team on various special assignments that requires a significant amount of skill, knowledge, and business acumen; and providing contractual expertise and leadership.
Typical activities can include:
- Proposal evaluation, risk mitigation, preparation, coordination, and management.
- Contract negotiation, coordination, management, and closeout.
- Working in conjunction with associated functional organizations and customers to ensure conformance with contractual obligations.
- Developing and applying advanced concepts, techniques, and standards to assigned activities.
- Active Secret clearance is preferred
A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- General Business, Project Management, and/or Contract experience
Desired Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel & Powerpoint).
Experience in developing and delivering both oral and written presentations.
Experience working independently and in a team situation.
Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARs).
Experience with multiple contract types and proposals, such as FFP, FPIF, CPIF, CPAF, CPFF & T&M.
Experience multi-tasking and working several assignments concurrently.
Experience dealing with Customers and internal program teams, including upper management.
