Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking to hire an experienced engineering professional at our campus in Syracuse, New York. Responsibilities include, but not limited to providing production support and design improvements for complex high-powered multi-channel analog transmitters or A-D systems used for signal processing in undersea acoustic sensors. Responsibilities will include hands-on troubleshooting, design, obsolescence, and providing technical leadership and guidance to a small electrical engineering team.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
-Experience testing and debugging complex analog and power electronics
-Electrical design & troubleshooting skills -Proficiency with common laboratory engineering tools including logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, digital multi-meters, and other support equipment. -Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance

-Obsolescence, substitution, or re-design
-Schematic Review
-Familiar with board layout and IPC Specs
-Knowledge of electrical/computing system design (power, packaging, custom circuits)
-Excellent Leadership/Communication/Team Skills
