Lockheed Martin is looking for a dedicated Ground Segment Liaison Systems Engineer to join the team in Denver, Colorado. As the Ground Segment Liaison, you will be responsible for coordinating with the mission Customer, System Integrator and Ground Segment to define, validate and verify open architecture ground system interfaces that ensure interoperability in an ABMS/JADC2 environment. You will be a part of a team that will identify and pursue mission improvements to maximize interoperability and associated growth opportunities. This is a "Ground floor" opportunity on a new program award on a rapid track to success and is a flagship program leveraging LM Space MBSE, MBE, and Digital Enterprise initiatives. Keys to success in this role are being a great listener, empathetic, approachable/social, effective communicator, organized, independent, influence/advocate (liaison role), strong team member, with frequent travel expected.
In this role, you will :
• Establish system architecture, ICDs, and CONOPS, and coordinate system level design and decomposition into requirements
• Coordinate concepts and execution with internal and external customers
• Perform system analysis and interface definition and management/ execution
• Perform systems/hardware integration, test planning and execution
• Develop plans to on-ramp new mission capabilities while protecting the primary mission
• Lead and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews
• Participate in failure investigations and anomaly resolution boards
Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge and application of Systems Engineering processes and Systems Integration functions
• Space or ground system related program experience
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize and present information to all levels of audiences
• Final Top Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
Desired Skills:
• Experience with the Common Mission Control Center (CMCC)
• Experience with Common Mission Software Baseline (CMSB)
• Experience with orchestrating large-scale DoD demonstrations
• Experience with OMS/UCI
• Experience with Joint All-Domain C2 (JADC2) and connecting system users together
• Ground systems architecture design, development, integration, operations, and test experience
• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
• Ability to interact with hardware and software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
• Active TS/SCI security clearance

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $83,800 - $139,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. This position is incentive plan eligible
Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
