Missile Systems Architect Staff

Description:Seeking a Systems Architect (SA) to develop an open system architecture using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques. The SA will develop models for current and future missile system designs. The SA will develop system and system element architectures, designs, and interface definitions while supporting necessary internal and external design reviews. The SA will serve as the focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture for the various stakeholders including both internal and external customers. Candidate must be able to perform open system architecture design using SysML based tools. Perform system functionality definition including system states and modes. Define system design for software requirements/functional interfaces and mission planning features. Synthesize design characteristics into an implementable system architecture. Additional activities include:1. Working with requirements management team to ensure accuracy of the subsystem element model within the overall system model and linking with the subsystem requirements.2. Coordination with the team for modeling and simulation scenarios, and predicted performance.3. Supporting system timelines and working with software and hardware teams.4. Documentation of system design and implementation for various use case scenarios.5.
