In this important role, the RF Design Engineer will collaborate in an Agile environment with other engineering disciplines and program personnel to perform electrical engineering research, design, development, modification, and evaluation in support of complex radar systems and their electronic components, equipment, systems and network.
The RF Design Engineer will support design, development and test of receiver and exciter subsystems used in ground based, airborne and shipboard radar and electronic warfare applications with a specific focus on RF and Mixed Signal Circuits. Conduct trade studies, perform dynamic analyses, interface with vendors, test RF and Mixed Signal circuitry and interact with engineers of other disciplines.
The ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance is required. US citizenship is needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Engineering field such as Electrical, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering including a general knowledge in Math, Physics or other physical sciences
Demonstrated application of Systems design
Demonstrated proficiency in Matlab or Python or C or equivalent high-level computing language
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong customer focus with proven ability to drive complex technical issues/challenges to closure
U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools (Cameo, Rhapsody or others)
Experience with DevOps tools (Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Mattermost or others)
Experience with Algorithm definition/development
Experience with RFIC/MMIC design in some of these cutting-edge technologies (GaAs, GaN, InP, Bulk CMOS, CMOS-SOI, or SiGe-CMOS)
Working knowledge of 1 or more of the following tools; ADS, AWR, Candence, Sonnet, HFSS, FEKO or similar tools
Active DoD Secret level clearance or higher
Clearance Level: Secret

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
The base range for this position in Washington is $74,600.00 - $128,203.00. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. The wage range and benefits summary is a general guideline and is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
