This position will assist in creating discrete event simulation models as part of Independent Research and Development (IRAD) efforts.
What You'll Do:
The job duties provide an opportunity to work on an exciting IRAD project to develop and validate the Training Enterprise Model (TEM) for turnkey training programs. Turnkey Training provides ab initio pilot training for customers around the world. The selected candidate will help build the TEM: a suite of discrete event models to validate the executability of pilot training and training device sustainment plans while considering uncontrollable factors such as weather, device failures, spares and personnel limitations. The model will predict a design’s ability to meet training Key Performance Indicators (such as number of pilots graduated, required aircraft, training devices availability, etc). When complete this module will be configurable with proposal/program data to support the TLS training services portfolio.
Additional duties may include developing effective data visualization dashboards, scripting and model regression testing.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or computer science.
• Experience in discrete simulation
• Familiarity with resource planning for military training
• Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. This requires US Citizenship.
Desired Skills:
• 5 or more years' experience with Simio software
• Prior military experience supporting training operations
