-The Engineer will have the opportunity to support a variety of programs including Electro-optical targeting and navigation systems, ground and air launched missiles, communications and controls systems, and other programs.
-The Engineer will have the opportunity to design and layout of High Speed Digital designs for new applications. Inclusive of PCIe, PCIe/Fiber, SERDES, and high speed memory interfaces.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to work on and collaborate with cross functional teams with other engineering disciplines.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to mentor less experienced engineers.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to attend industry conferences and to keep up-to-date on related industry best practices and technological advancements.

The Locale: Orlando is a city in the Central Florida area. This region is a great place to live and to raise a family. Central Florida offers lots of attractive residential housing options. The Greater Orlando metropolitan area is the sixth largest metro area in the southeastern United States. The climate here is warm and sunny all year long for the most part. Orlando is home to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Florida, and SeaWorld. Orlando is also home to the second largest University in the US, the University of Central Florida (UCF). Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1.5 hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with a concentration circuit card design with relevant experience is required.
-Demonstrated circuit design and integration experience is required.
-The ability to work effectively in a manufacturing and laboratory environment is required.
-Excellent testing and troubleshooting skills are required.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
-The ability to obtain a secret security clearance is require
Desired Skills:
-Previous experience with architecture, design trades & high speed PWB/PCB is desired.
-Previous experience with card / system level integration is desired.
-Experience with creation of electrical wiring and schematic drawings is desired.
-SPICE simulations experience is desired.
-Troubleshoot system failures and perform system failure analysis / power failure analysis is desired.
-Knowledgeable of analog design and digital design principles is desired.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
