About The Position
Three facilities are seeking a cardiothoracic surgeon for locum tenens coverage.
In Lufkin, Texas, visitors can enjoy exploring the beautiful Ellen Trout Zoo, home to a diverse array of animals and offering interactive experiences for all ages. Additionally, outdoor enthusiasts can indulge in hiking, fishing, and boating at the picturesque Lake Sam Rayburn, providing endless opportunities for fun and relaxation amidst nature's bounty.
There will be 7 days of coverage per week with 24-hour call; on alternating weekends there will be a need to cover a 2nd hospital site. The EMR system is Cerner. There will be primarily inpatient surgical coverage for ED and referred elective cases.
Dates Needed: 2/27-3/1; ongoing until further notice; likely a minimum of 2-3 months of coverage to start
