Description 
Overall, provide support for the ongoing USPS VersionOne re-design efforts via the Health Check Diagnostics process. Specifically, provide technical and programmatic expertise to assist with the re-design of VersionOne across USPS to meet the needs of the CIO organization. Additionally, provide technical expertise to conduct a Health Check on the VersionOne software and re-design support effort. Further, provide VersionOne tool configuration and process support. Finally, provide consulting and coaching support across the solution centers to support the ongoing Health Check on the current VersionOne implementation and maximize the tool's usability. 
 
Required Skills/Experience 
"• Expert level user of VersionOne for at least 3 years; 
• Ability/willingness to travel extensively; 
• Experience as a VersionOne Consultant / Coach; 
• Experience coaching many types of users, including IT Teams, IT Management, Product Owners, Business Partners and other stakeholders in VersionOne Best Practices;  
• Experience implementing and coaching VersionOne Best Practices, including Sprint Planning, Capacity Planning, Resource Planning, Product Planning, Release Planning and Portfolio Planning; 
• Experience implementing, supporting, and creating roadmaps for VersionOne in large organizations using enterprise scaling frameworks including, but not limited to, the SAFe methodology; 
• Experience driving Agile and VersionOne adoption and continuous improvements, to include measuring the outcomes; 
• Experience with the entire set of VersionOne Features including Reporting, Dashboards and Analytics modules; 
• Experience developing and delivering training programs for VersionOne; 
• Experience as a VersionOne Administrator to include setup and maintenance; 
• Understanding of the VersionOne DB structure for insight as we integrate applications; and 
• Experience in software development and lean agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Extreme Programming, Kanban). 
 
Additional Skills/Experience  
"• A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in software development, business area, or related field; 
• A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related discipline is preferred; 
• Experience training/mentoring less experienced personnel; 
• Extensive experience identifying enterprise improvement goals, assessing organizational and process effectiveness, and implementing change strategies; 
• Experience with business management, system engineering, operations research and management engineering; 
• Extremely knowledgeable of the latest technological developments and industry trends related to VersionOne; 
• Able to obtain Postal clearance; and 
• Excellent communication skills. 
 
Additional Provisions • Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check. • Once candidate’s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process. • If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance. • All candidates must be a US Citizen, or have permanent residence status (Green Card). • Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years. • Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.) • All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative. • Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time. • The enforced dress code is business casual, i.e. collared shirt with slacks for men, no skirts above the knee for women. Place and Period of Performance • Hours of support: o The standard work week for contract staff will be 5 days a week and 8 hours per day preferable Monday through Friday. o Contract staff may be required to travel to support business efforts.
