Summer Intern - Investor Relations

Locust Point Capital sources capital and provides debt and preferred equity financing to the lower middle market seniors housing and care industry. Locust Point’s approach to financing combines flexible capital, an experienced team, and a partnership-oriented approach. The Investor Relations Summer Intern will be an important member of the firm’s investor relations team and will focus on the research, due diligence, and marketing for Locust Point’s fund raising and reporting functions. Included in this role will give the selected candidate an opportunity to directly work with the CEO and other C-suite level executives. The position is based in Miami, FL and will be full-time, in-office hours for the duration of Summer 2024, Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate will be a high-integrity, self-driven, resourceful individual willing to learn and get involved with many different aspects of the business.

Required Skills:

High school degree or equivalent and must be enrolled at a university/college (with a focus in real estate financing, accounting, or related field)

High proficiency of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Self-starter with the ability to work in a small team environment, excellent attention to detail, and highly motivated to take on increasing levels of responsibility

Financial industry experience is required, in either a full-time or part-time capacity.
