Job Description: Operations Analyst
Office: Boston, MA; must currently reside in the Boston metro area. Must have U.S. Citizenship, permanent residency or Visa 

Overview
Locust Walk is a global investment bank that integrates the best of strategy consulting with strategic transactions and capital raising for innovative life science companies. We support management and board members through all aspects of a deal – from clearly defining and assessing all options to developing company positioning and navigating through the full deal cycle from outreach to term sheet structuring to negotiating to close. Our suite of capabilities and data driven approach provides our clients with greater confidence on decision making, faster execution, and less friction working with a single team throughout the process. 

Core job responsibilities:
-Serve as the in-office IT support resource with backing from an experienced IT professional
-Assist Operations Team members (finance, marketing, business development etc.) as needed with Ad Hoc projects regarding data pulls and analysis from company customer relationship management system
-Coordinate service requests and agreements with office vendors and building management
-Handle visitor requests for the new hires/client meetings/office guests
-Assist with office management duties
-Assist Human Resource Manager and IT with onboarding and offboarding of team members including IT, computer setup and agenda creation
-Create and update SOPs for internal business processes
-Manage and administer Microsoft Licenses, equipment, and hardware inventory
-General FINRA new hire paperwork and compliance activities as needed including email keyword searching, tracking brokerage letters/online statements for registered reps and sending/updating company watch list to team
-Schedule interviews and track candidates throughout hiring process in our applicant tracking system
-Coordinate Locust Walk Café and events with Human Resources Manager
-Assist Human Resources Manager with event and training logistics
-Track LW team engagement efforts (surveys, polls etc.)
-Supporting HR Manager in all areas of recruitment including but not limited to resumes screen
-Administratively support Chief People Officer

-Bachelor's degree (1-2 years of relevant experience preferred)

-Ability to take initiative and execute tasks in a timely manner 
-Exercise discretion and confidentiality with all matters 
-Flexible and open to taking on new and different initiatives as priorities change 
-Basic proficiency with the Microsoft suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
