Serving as the frontline interface, you will champion Loft Federal's engagement with our customers. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding customers through the seamless utilization of Cockpit's tools for mission planning and payload operations.

Collaborating closely with both customers and internal stakeholders, you'll spearhead the quest for lowest friction solutions that meet customer requirements. Furthermore, your contributions will extend to enhancing Cockpit's functionality by implementing improvements and driving automation efforts.

Your adeptness in interpreting customer feedback will play a vital role in shaping Cockpit's feature roadmap, ensuring that it aligns seamlessly with evolving user needs and expectations.

Mission Mandates

• The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is required. Because this position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Additionally, an active DoD Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance. Active Top Secret clearance with experience within the last 2 years or active Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) is strongly desired.
• Applicants should demonstrate a minimum of 5-7 years experience within a space company or organization, with exposure to satellite operations and/or assembly, integration, and testing.
• Familiarity with both ground software and flight software is required; flight software development is not expected.
• Proficiency in writing software scripts in Python is essential.
  
  

Mission Credentials

• Preference will be given to candidates with 1) a DoD or Intelligence Community Top Secret background investigation with at least 3 years of eligibility remaining or CE status; and SCI eligibility with current experience in SCI programs, other control systems, and/or Special Access Programs, or 2) a current in-scope DoD SECRET background investigation with at least 3 years of eligibility remaining, or Continuous Evaluation (CE) status, along with willingness and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) systems or orbital mechanics.
• Exposure to Docker containers as well as general DevOps exposure.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and UI Design.
• Experience operating systems at scale.
  
  

Per Colorado law, we are required to disclose the base compensation range for this role. This range is intentionally wide as we assess individuals based on their unique abilities and experience to find the best fit for our needs. Ultimately, your compensation will be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Salary Range

$90,000—$150,000 USD
