- Provide Customer Service and serves as the primary contact for prospective and current applicants through the client's programs.
- Establish appointments and meet one-on-one with homeowners.
- Responsible for data entry and Maintenance of client data using Yardi Software
- Screen the needs and status of the at-risk family or individual for the company to determine housing options and to facilitate access to other needed resources or services.
- Screen and select potential applications in accordance with policies and regulations.
- Keep applicants up to date by sending various notifications.
- Conduct sufficient follow-ups for all programmatic leads.
- Identify potential opportunities in your service area.
- Complete necessary paperwork for applications and daily log of program activities
- Timely submission of all program reports.
- Attend mandatory weekly HAF Meetings & Webinars
- Willingness to attend events outside of normal business hours (networking events, business meetings, pop-up events)
- Perform other duties as required.
- Maintain confidence and protect the organization by keeping confidential information concerning Legacy business, its clients, and its employees confidential.
- Ability to overcome programmatic obstacles through problem solving and critical thinking.
- Requirements:
- Must be dependable and have reliable transportation with valid car insurance as this position requires some travel.
- Previous experience working with Yardi Software is a plus.
- Previous mortgage, banking, property management, or housing program experience is a plus.
- Some knowledge of and experience with strategies and programs geared towards maintaining and expanding affordable housing opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Knowledge of and experience with housing income certification process preferred but not required.
- Must be willing to submit to a background screening.
