Overview:
- Assists Communications Manager with writing and communications projects and tasks within
- Helps plan and implement communications strategies, and leads media promotions.
- Edits and proofreads communications materials and texts for content, typographical errors, grammar, punctuation, and branding specifications.
Typical Job Functions:
- Designs, writes, and produces brochures and newsletters that are distributed to corporate and company-wide audiences and customers.
- Creates professional PowerPoint presentations for high-level meetings.
- Assists in developing the communications strategy for trade shows.
- Develops, updates, and/or revises the organization's website; and creates copy for social media.
- Promotes and strengthens good media relations, and oversees the company's advertising and promotion campaigns.
- Works on and drives traffic to social media accounts to expand the target audience.
- Collaborates to develop organizational branding and ensures all communications are consistent with company branding, marketing and communication objectives.
- May represent the company in public settings, such as promotional events, networking events, and speaking arrangements.
- May reconcile department expenses and invoices.
Salary range is 30-40K DOE
