Job description
Log Cabin Deli and Market is looking for a deli associate for our location in Mauston. We are building a team of people who like spending time in the kitchen and getting things done.. :) We have a casual work culture, but we also have a fast pace and do a lot of multi-tasking. We encourage a positive attitude, creativity and bringing your best to work. Excellent customer service, reliability and accountability is a must-have.

Responsibilities:
Greet customers
Take orders and process payments using credit cards or cash
Prepare food
Clean and organize the store to keep it neat and tidy
Keep the store and front desk area clean and organized at all times
Help other deli associates with tasks as needed (deli associates are also allowed to help other associates)
Maintain a clean work environment by keeping shelves stocked, working machines running, etc.
Other tasks as assigned by management
Skills:
Proven working experience in food service a plus but not required
Basic math skills
Hands-on experience with kitchen equipment
Customer-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
A friendly and energetic personality with a great customer service attitude
Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
Fastidious about cleaning
Must be able to lift heavy items on occasion
Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification upon hire
