Designer Showroom Sales Associate / Assistant

Location: San Francisco: M-F 8:30AM-5PM - Must open and close the showroom.

INTRODUCTION

Loggia Showroom- Busy Designer Showroom located in the San Francisco Design Center presenting a collection of fine furniture handcrafted in the U.S, Italy, Southeast Asia. We offer a large selection of high-quality upholstery, leather, and case goods. Specializing in custom high-end sourcing from Traditional to Transitional as well as accessories and artwork from local artists. We offer a full spectrum of residential and contract furniture and fabrics to the design trade.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

This showroom sales position is responsible for selling product to the interior design trade on a wholesale basis. Our showroom sales representative will work with interior designers and help them with fabric and furniture selections. They will also help maintain the showroom and office spaces and work directly with vendors.

Full Job Description

• Assist customers in the selection, purchase, and delivery of merchandise.
• Maintaining comprehensive product knowledge and utilizing the informational tools to provide immediate detail for product and sales requests
• Prospect, develop, and document new and existing business opportunities
• Industry knowledge and understanding of brands and a critical understanding of how to apply this knowledge to the sales process
• Showroom merchandising

Job Requirements:

• To the Trade and Wholesale industry knowledge preferred
• Outstanding customer service and exceptional follow-up
• Order processing and basic computer skills – QuickBooks, Word, and Excel proficient. Adobe a plus.
• Ability to work independently, and with a team
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Sales Aide Management/Maintenance
• Showroom Merchandising and upkeep
• General Admin Duties (i.e., Answering phone calls, email correspondence, etc.)
