Job Description


We are leveraging AI and data science to mitigate wildfires by proactively addressing issues with power lines and related equipment. This is a highly visible, highly impactful project—with implications for millions of customers.

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll lead all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of innovative applications. You will work with solution architects, developers, and product owners to translate business problems into impactful solutions. You’ll also be experimenting with new models and techniques on large and interesting data sets.

About the team

The Logic20/20 Digital Transformation team applies design thinking and next-gen technologies to solve our clients’ toughest business challenges. You’ll work side-by-side with architects, managers, and engineering consultants to gain a 360-degree perspective of the challenge at hand while contributing your unique perspective to develop innovative solutions.

About you

  • You have a customer-first mindset and focus on what is possible over what is standard practice in the industry

  • You can lead projects from concept to delivery by working closely with back-end and front-end developers
  • You consistently ensure web standards are met and platforms are fully functional before delivery to clients
  • You have a passion for mobile apps and emerging technologies
  • You have proven expertise in industry SDLC best practices and delivery excellence
  • You’re always ready to roll up your sleeves and immerse in the details

Qualifications
  • 5 years of development experience with a track record of realizing highly scalable, cross-platform products
  • Strong proficiency with Node.js and JavaScript
  • 2-3 years of experience with AWS; especially with technologies such as S3 and RDS
  • 5 years experience in technical architecture of web applications and/or media products
  • 5 years experience creating examples through wireframes and mock-ups
  • Extensive experience with Docker is required; Kubernetes is highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins for deployment
  • Excellent hands-on design, coding, testing methodology, and debugging skills
  • In-depth back-end experience

We’d also be super-impressed if you have

  • Working knowledge of Python
  • Proven experience with rapid, iterative design and development processes
  • Launched product experiences into consumer-facing web and/or mobile applications
  • Prior experience working in an Agile development process
  • Experience identifying business and technical impacts of requirements
  • Deep understanding of service-oriented architectures and domain-driven design concepts
  • Experience working with high-volume streaming systems (Apache Kafka/Kinesis)
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or professional certifications in computer technology
