Job Description
As a Data Engineer in our Advanced Analytics practice, you will design and develop data solutions that elevate customer performance. You’ll become part of a high-achieving and highly recognized team of professionals in data engineering, data science, and visual analytics in an environment that promotes thought leadership, connection, and professional growth. Our Advanced Analytics practice brings clarity and insights to mitigate risk, optimize operations, and automate processes for the ultimate user experience.
As a key part of our team, you’ll recognize, subscribe, and apply best practices, methodology, tools, and techniques to meet client requirements, timelines, and budgets. You’ll work closely with the client to understand both their business processes and analytics needs to design and build data pipelines and cloud data solutions. You will have the opportunity to guide best practices in data lake, data processing, and design to help clients achieve their business goals.
What you’ll do
- Build solutions that provide measurable business value
- Maintain best practices for high-velocity, Agile project teams
- Apply knowledge in production-grade systems with real-time processing
- Provide guidance from your full-stack experience on the team’s approach to application design and architecture and integration design and architecture, and enforce technical standards
- Design, develop, test, review, deploy, and support custom applications
- Learn about and evaluate leading-edge technologies
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience with ETL development
- 5 years of deep experience with Python
- Strong experience with AWS and Azure
- Advanced data analysis including advanced SQL query capabilities as well as deep experience in data modeling, data analysis, and relational database design
- Ability to view entire solution from a holistic perspective, not just back-end components, and use this to drive overall success of engagement
