What You'll Do:
LogicMonitor is disrupting the hybrid cloud monitoring market by changing the way businesses use disparate sources of data. We are already a leader in this space – and we started by solving the hardest, most complicated problem first. With roots in the IT Infrastructure Monitoring space, we have carved out excellent product-market fit in hybrid cloud monitoring. Our customers love LogicMonitor's ability to bring cloud and traditional IT together into one view, as seen in minimal churn rates, expansion business, and exciting new customer references. As we enter this next phase of growth, we are in search of a Principal UX Designer.
Become the visionary Principal UX Designer driving innovation and setting new standards in cross-platform initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director of Design, your role extends beyond the present, influencing the platform's future 1-2 years ahead.

Here's a closer look at this key role:
- Lead cross-platform design initiatives ensuring optimal utility, trust, and usability
- Own the vision for platform initiatives, partner with product, the field, and dev to understand user needs, define use cases, conduct competitive analysis, model user journeys, create and test concept prototypes to find optimal solutions
- Actively propose and drive new initiatives aligned to to UX, product, and business goals
- Mentor Senior, Staff, Associate, and Mid-Level designers
- Continuously and actively advocate for user needs throughout the organization
- Drive achievement of product and business goals through the delivery of an excellent user experience
- Bachelor's Degree required; Masters Degree in HCI Design or User Experience Design preferred
- 10 or more years of experience designing complex SaaS products
- Solid design portfolio with multiple case studies showing smart solutions to difficult problems, and ability to establish a longer-term platform vision
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize research from multiple channels into product-differentiating use cases and new product capabilities
- Demonstrated expertise in RITE user research, particularly converting insights into actionable design improvements
- Demonstrated expertise facilitating workshops to frame problems and generate solutions with a cross functional team
- Comfortable using lo-fildeltiy methods such as hand-sketching of stories and wireframes on paper and white board
- Ability to quickly execute high-def, realistic vision prototypes in Figma

LogicMonitor believes in pay transparency, so we provide the base salary ranges for all of our jobs in the United States. Actual base salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location, education, experience, skills, and qualifications.
As part of our holistic compensation philosophy, LogicMonitor also offers many competitive elements in our total compensation package for US employees, such as bonus or commission compensation in addition to the base pay, an equity program for all full time employees, 401K matching, and other rewards.
