What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Logistical Resource Group?
Logistical Resource Group is currently seeking a Bookkeeper
This position will be responsible for recording and maintaining the financial transactions of all the LRG companies by:
- Organizing and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions
- Timely Updating and maintenance of the general ledger in the accounting system
- Performing reconciliations of general ledger accounts
- Invoicing of intercompany financial transactions
This position will also be required to:
- Assist the Financial Officer with daily business functions
- Assist the Contract CFO with the monthly closing process
- Assist with inventories
- Produce work with a high level of accuracy
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Associate or College degree in accounting preferred
- 5 years or more working experience in bookkeeping
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures and accounting best practices
Preferred Skills
- Strong computer skills and knowledgeable of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Able to deal with complex processes
- Have problem-solving skills
- Highly Organized
Compensation and Benefits
- $40,000-$50,000 annually depending on experience
