What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental/Asbestos Technician position at Logistical Solutions, LLC?
Logistical Solutions is a 24/7 waste management company providing a wide variety of contracting, hazardous response, and environmental services to the Clark County area. MUST HAVE A VALID NV DRIVER'S LICENSE.
We are looking for an Environmental/Asbestos Technician that will primarily be utilized for general labor to help our construction division and help with displaced persons encampment removal, as well as waste management pickups, and other various jobs. The candidate will also be required to be available on call 24 hours for 1 week every 2 months. All training, protective equipment and a company vehicle if needed will be supplied while on shift.
Job Description:
- Utilize and maintain proper PPE when needed.
- Maintain a safe and secure worksite and follow all Company Safety Protocols.
- Submit field work orders as required.
- Perform field operations as directed by your supervisor.
- Drive company vehicles as required and as authorized.
- Operate trucks, equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that all equipment is well maintained and disposable supplies and materials are restocked or replaced after use.
- Maintain and contribute to a high level of morale while maintaining Client’s confidentiality.
- Perform simple maintenance and cleaning of response vehicles.
- Work as directed on special projects as required.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and good work ethic.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and random quarterly drug screening during employment.
- Must be able to pass respiratory physical. Must be able to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) to include full-face respirators and full-body coverings (protective suits) which require endurance at extreme temperatures.
- Must have reliable transportation to work.
- Must be compassionate and customer service oriented.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Training:
Company will provide you with all training that is necessary. This includes all pertinent biohazard safety courses.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
