Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Change Management Analyst to join a team supporting a US Army project.  The candidate will support the program through a focus on establishing processes to maintain the integrity of information technology products and information systems throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop CM plans and procedures
  • Establish and document baseline configurations for information systems and system components including communications and connectivity-related aspects of systems.
  • Manages application configuration item (CI) baselines and CI changes per separate configuration management (CCB) functions and processes.
  • Create Instructions on how to use the modified or new templates
  • Establish and maintain CM baselines (including functional baselines, allocated baselines, and product baselines)
  • Lead or support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs)
  • Work with architects, project managers and system developer to maintain baseline configurations by creating and documenting new baselines as organizational information systems change over time.
  • Lead or support Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process
  • Provide timely and accurate status reporting to program management and engineering teams
  • Support documentation management

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 4 years experience
  • Experience in performing configuration management and product lifecycle management

  • Experience in supporting CCB and ECP processes

  • Understanding of Change Management (Change Requests, Approvals, etc.), Release management, development management, integration management, test management experience and project management / scheduling experience.
  • Agile experience.
  • Proficient working with Microsoft products; Teams and Office
  • Must possess and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Desired:

  • Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Change Management Certification such as: CCMP - Certified Change Management Professional™ Certification
  • Agile certifications
  • Experience managing complex efforts in large federal government organizations.
  • Familiar with DoD and Army requirements such as:
    • DoD Directive 5105.64, “Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA),” January 10, 2013
    • DoD Directive 8440.01, “DoD Information Technology Service Management,” December 24, 2015
